Paper Tigers - No Ghosts Walk
Belfast based paper tigers are back with another single, following the prog/bluesy sounding flames comes this hard rock/poppy track entitled ‘No Ghosts Walk’. The song is a lot heavier than previous releases but is still just as catchy as before.

This release has more of a poppy and punk sound, more recommencement of bands like the Ramones or Green Day its also a lot faster and a lot heavier than their previous work. It shows some kind of experimentation which is always hit or miss but I feel like they definitely hit the mark with this one, It is on the poppy side of rock but when done well those styles can really complement each other. I feel like paper tigers did this really well.
Honestly I feel like they’re a band anyone can enjoy, and this single in particular, it has a poppy catchy beat that people who aren’t into rock can enjoy and a blaring guitar and attitude that rock fans would love, they’re the perfect band for people who may not be familiar with rock but want to get into it. I loved listening to this track and can’t wait to hear what they put out next, Paper Tigers are on my list of bands to watch out for and should be on yours too.
The instruments complement each other, as a whole the song is very well put together and Hayleys vocals just tie everything together, this girl can do no wrong.

This is only one track so there’s not a lot I can say without repeating myself a thousand times, my advice is check the song and band for yourself. Maybe they’ll make a fan out of you too.
