The Review

Starting off on a high note with the fast paced, catchy and infectious ‘Judo killer’, full of amazing vocals, funny lyrics and expert solos it shows us just what to expect going forward. Skipping ahead to ‘Miami Supercops’, the heavy thrashy sound does not break, the silly lyrics keep coming. ‘She’s not my mother, Tod’ is probably my favourite title on this album, the entire song feels like a teenage tantrum and I just can’t not love it, it is absolutely beautiful. ‘Lords of the Hellfire club’ is the catchiest song on the whole album and it ends with ‘Gone haywire’, throughout the whole album it keeps the same fast paced, energetic feel, and the lyrics are comical which just adds to how good this release is.

Conclusion

As a fan of bands like ‘The Darkness’ and ‘Steel panther’ I love bands who don’t take themselves too seriously, Gama Bomb are one of those bands, their musicianship is absolutely amazing and their lyrics are beautifully funny, they balance the line between piss-take and serious musicians perfectly, the whole album is catchy, it’s one i’ll be listening to again a definite highlight to the shitty year 2020 was.
