The review

The ep starts out with 'world on fire' a guitar heavy song, it starts out with very deep sounding guitars and cymbals. The intro is over a minute long before the deep growling vocals kick in, it's quite a heavy, slow track which I find really nice. The vocals on this track almost sound spoken. It's the longest song on the EP at 6 minutes and sets the tone for what's to come, We get a really good and really long solo around half way through the song, it's somewhere just over a minute. They use a lot of repetition in their lyrics, they almost suck you in. Hail to the succubus starts out with guitar before divulging into the familiar doom sound the band are known for, the instrumental when the vocalist sings “closer my dear” creates a really cool effect, it almost gives the effect of gunshots. You can hear some heavy vocals in the song as well.

Skipping ahead 'Monstrous' starts out with a drum solo before the guitars follow, 'Siberia' and 'Serial' are similar to the first two, I'm not really familiar with this style of music as you may be able to tell but the band seem to follow a formula of deep haunting guitar and a lot of bass, it's a 6 song ep and there's not much I can say about it

Conclusion

In all, doom isn’t really my style I really enjoyed it, you can hear the passion for their music, its pretty good and something I would listen to again.

MetalManiac333 This is some deep dark doom metal of the finest caliber with the right amount of stoner thrown into the mix. As soon as that first track kicked in, I was instantly drawn in & knew this was going to be something quite special.
