Amo - Album review

Artist: Bring Me The Horizon
Genre: Metalcore
Album name: Amo
Band members: Oliver Sykes (vocals)

So this is a review I had been trying to avoid for days please remember I love bmth all the way up to songs like follow you and true friends, I have to say I didn't enjoy this album. Personally songs like "Nihilist blues" and "Medicine" are too pop sounding for me to enjoy although songs like "Mantra" and "Sugar, honey, ice & tea" are quite good, they sound closer to the BMTH I enjoyed before.

Amo was different with songs that branched out into a more pop friendly direction for newer fans and songs in a more rock direction for older fans which I can understand, its experimentation wich is a good thing although it may ailenate older fans, which is also understandable as people are generally opposed to change.

Although I believe that amo is a bit too much of a change, they've become too pop friendly I believe, although there are rock leaning songs its mostly electronic or pop leaning.
